WebStrator

Satisfied or refunded.

You have 24 hours after payment to change your mind.
Here is exactly how it works.

24 hours to request a refund
Refunded to your original payment method
A single support ticket is enough
Your legal guarantees always protected

Refunds in three points

Not convinced by your hosting?
Here is how a refund works at WebStrator.

24 hours

Changed your mind? You have 24 hours after payment to request a refund, renewals included.

In full

The amount is returned in full, with no deduction or handling fee, to the payment method you originally used.

In a few clicks

A single ticket from your client area is enough. The team replies and handles the rest.

Our money-back promise, in plain terms

After a payment made by credit card, PayPal or credits, whether a purchase or a renewal, you have 24 hours to request a refund by opening a support ticket from your client area. Simply state which service is involved and why you are asking.

This is a goodwill gesture on top of your rights: our services start immediately, so they are in principle not covered by the right of withdrawal, since delivery begins as soon as you order. We chose to give you a window to step back anyway if the hosting does not suit you.

In what form are you refunded?

The form of the refund depends on the payment method you originally used.

Credit card and PayPal

Refundable

You are refunded directly to your card or PayPal account, for the exact amount paid. How quickly it appears on your statement then depends on your bank.

PaySafeCard and Dedipass

As internal credits

These payment methods are technically irreversible: no return to your account is possible. Any justified refund is credited to you as WebStrator credits, usable on your next orders.

Credit top-ups

Non-refundable

Topping up your account with credits is an immediate delivery of digital content: these purchases are not refundable in euros. The credits stay available on your account and can be used on any order.

Promotional codes

Non-refundable

Discounts obtained through a promotional code give rise to no refund, neither in euros nor in credits. Only the amount actually paid can be refunded.

Requesting a refund, step by step

1

Open a ticket

From your client area, open a support ticket stating which service is involved and why you are asking.

2

We reply

Our team handles your request and gets back to you. Support is reachable 7 days a week by ticket, phone and Discord.

3

You get refunded

Depending on your payment method, the amount goes back to your card or PayPal account, or is credited to you as WebStrator credits.

Beyond our goodwill gesture, the law protects you

Legal guarantee of conformity

Our digital services are guaranteed to conform to what is announced, under Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. Where there is a lack of conformity, you may ask for it to be brought into conformity and then, if that is not possible, for a price reduction or termination of the contract. This guarantee is independent of our 24-hour commercial window.

In the event of an outage or dispute

If your service suffers a prolonged interruption attributable to us, open a ticket: we look at each situation case by case and offer suitable compensation. Always go through support before raising a dispute with your bank, as a dispute opened without a prior request leads to the account being suspended while it is handled.

Frequently asked questions

The points we are asked about most often.

How long do I have to request a refund?

You have 24 hours from payment, whether it is a first purchase or a renewal. The request is made by ticket from your client area.

Is the refund full or partial?

It is full: the amount actually paid is returned to you, with no deduction or handling fee. Only discounts obtained through a promotional code give rise to no payment.

I paid with PaySafeCard or Dedipass, how am I refunded?

These payment methods allow no return to your account, which is a provider limitation rather than a choice of ours. The amount is therefore credited to you as WebStrator credits, usable on any order.

What happens to my hosting after a refund?

The service is closed once the refund is processed. Retrieve your files, databases and emails before requesting it, as the closure is permanent.

Can I be refunded after the 24-hour window?

After that window, no refund can be claimed, as digital services are delivered as soon as you order. This takes nothing away from your legal guarantees: if a service does not match what was announced, open a ticket and we will handle it.

What if I dispute directly with my bank?

Contact us first: nearly every situation is settled with a single message. A dispute opened without a prior request leads to the account being suspended while it is handled, which holds you up for nothing.

What happens to the CloudPod credits granted with my order?

They are removed from your account when the refund is processed: those credits are granted in return for the purchase, so they no longer apply once it is refunded.

If you have already spent them, their value is deducted from the refunded amount.

This page summarises our practice. The binding clauses are set out in our terms and conditions.
